Hiked St Mark's Summit trail in early July to catch a summer sunset over Howe Sound.  Got lucky with the conditions that day, and from the trail's vantage point that sits on the edge of a cliff, 4000ft high in the sky, looking west at the sea, saw the mountains cast their shadows across the sea as behind them the sun sunk into the horizon... and then after the sun had disappeared and its light was also receding, chasing it west, the last of the sun rays lit up the clouds over the mountains of Vancouver Island.
